Hey nice ride bro it looks AWESOME, ive got a 07 GP base thats same to yours. I got 8k HIDs and switchbacks, i saw you made the CAI and wanted to know how did you do yours? Also does it really make a differ in speed and sound of the engine? it looks pretty easy to do and how much did that tv thingy screen LCD thingy ( sorry pretty new at this and forgot the name of that thingy lol) cost you and how hard is it to install and is it worth it in your opinion?

buy a spectre cone filter...stick it on the end of the MAF, completely rip out your stock air box..and it makes the motor a little more throaty when you open up the throttle...cost is under $40 and completely worth it...not hard to install at all helps your MPGs a little

CAI was made by pulling out the stock box, velcroing PCM to that ledge and slapping the cone on the end of the MAF.. the end haha. It has made a difference with sound and seems to be a little more responsive.

My touchscreen headunit was around $650ish. It is very easy to install, the wiring harness is the hardest part and that is just matching wires up and soldeirng or crimping. And hell yes it is worth is lol.

Autozone, O'reillys, Advanced auto...pretty much anyplace that sells car parts..
and i recommend replacing them every 10K miles depending on your road conditions


doesnt mess up the computer or throw a code

Hey we came back and looked at the spectre cones they have which one is it that will fit in our car? the ones that says that fits 3in 3.5 in and 4in? hey also which one did you get, we are looking to get the one that was like 19.99 and looks about half a foot long? do we really have to change it 10k miles it says its reusable and washable and has warranty.

Is there a difference in the length of it, any HP, speed, or mpg differ or significance? Thanks for the help bro we were thinking about buying the whole kit but people say make your own or install that cone and it gives you the same if not better gains than from the kit.

Maybe 1 mpg better if you can keep your foot out of it, the car does seem the breath better though. And dont quote me on this, but I would think bigger filter would take more air in. And it fits the space nicely haha.

lol ya i think we might get the bigger one if not the smaller filter and install it, is the spectra ones the best ones? Thanks bro for the help and ill post a pic later on when we are done to show how it looks.
