i wasn't saying it was cold. i haven't worn a coat in a week.

i was saying that there's no reason for me to rush putting my summers on yet. i need a solid few hours to get them on the car and dial everything in anyway. they are probably not going to be a bolt on affair.

So my Saturday was nice and ****ty. Everything went opposite of plan. I needed to feel like I accomplished something today so I test fit the wheels on one side.

I have about a paper thickness between the front calipers and the wheels and it actually rubbed slightly enough to tell it touched. I'll do a 3mm spacer all around and have a true offset of +30mm. I also need to bring the car down a half inch all around. Other than that I'm happy with how they sit. Pictures...

so...yeah, not done, but they fit nice so far.

yeah, besides it rubbing the front calipers, that's why it went right back in the garage and the old wheels put back on. apparently i'm not ready.

finally got some work done on the car that i've been pushing off for far too long. cradle bushings, trailing arms/bushings, and toe arms all completed yesterday. purdy parts that no one sees.

this car was super, duper clean when i bought it. i'm messing it up by driving it in the winter.

Its hard to go back...I'm doing it right now, but in 3 weeks I will be there.

i decided to take tomorrow evening to drop the suspension another half inch and get the wheels on (and make sure the fenders are out of the way).

so the wheels will be officially on after tomorrow.
