Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

My '05 V - Summer mode engaged

My '05 V

^ speaks the true

But If it's not a Audi get rid of the LEDs.

New Cherokees look retarded with them, Chrysler 300 or maybe it's the Sebring look retarded with them.

Re: My '05 V

They are all doing it now...so it is too late.

Nissan's are the worst because they can't get the color right LOL

Re: My '05 V

I agree with Dave, unless it came from the factory with LEDs it shouldn't have them. I do like them on most cars, some look really out of place tho.

I didn't check the thread Red posted but there's got to be a few options for upgrading the projectors.

And being a V I'm assuming it has HID bulbs already?

Re: My '05 V

yes, it's a stock D1S HID setup, but the projector from pictures i've seen is foggy and just terrible quality. an upgrade on the projector probably would do me good.

theoretically i'd like to stick with something as closely sized to the stock one in order to be able to replace it as easy as possible. i'll admit the stock headlights are pretty good already, but a similar sized, but more clear projector would be a definite upgrade.

booty, booty, booty

side note: i need to get off of photobucket and move somewhere that won't demolish the picture quality...i'm done with those shenanigans.

Re: My '05 V

Not sure I belong on this site, as soon as I seen D1, procharger was the first thing in my head. I got excited then I realized it was for a set of headlights.

the GTO procharger kit bolts on with a few modifications. if i went boosted, i think it'd be the way i'd go.

Tails and 3rd brake light need tinted....maybe the reverse lights too, but that might be too much dark on the rear

i was going to have ray tint all of the rear lights real lightly. still very visible through them, but not stock.

Re: My '05 V

so i decided it's much easier just to replace the lens versus retrofitting a completely new projector. this will undoubtedly clean up the low beams light output and will be the cheapest solution. they range from $40-45 from the retrofit source.

i'm much more comfortable with this option!
