Re: My '05 V

how does it feel to have a 400hp sports car? mine sure is fun. except mine averages 16.2mpg LOL

Re: My '05 V

So how much do you charge for me to spend some "alone" time with your car? I promise it will be streak free afterwards.

Re: My '05 V

it was insured before i bought it and it was registered as of a couple weeks ago. i was driving it before that, no lie. gonna tell on me?

either way, this car is freakin awesome. i need to get some parts out for paint work and i need to get the roof vinyled. then i'll drive it through the rest of the year and next spring it'll get lowered and some 20s put on it, which will most likely require me to do a little bit of fender magic, but i've been honing that art for a while now.

then once i don't have to drive it everyday and keep it reliable it'll get a ford 8.8 rear end swap (cobras use these) and a heads/cam/procharger....but that's a long way off.

Not the point I was trying to make. Was wondering if you were driving it yet.

Sounds like a good plan.

i need a grown up car..

You and me both.

Re: My '05 V

i'm almost debating trying to find someone locally who could crack open a strut and revalve with better hardware and order some hyperco or swift springs.

then the ksport coilovers might be a good choice for me.

Re: My '05 V

How have I missed this thread of an entire month? Anyway

Looks nice. The one in post 201 that's dropped looks great. As for the retro. It's really probably not that bad. You've already got a spare pair of lights. I'd give it a go. FXR's are stupid bright with a fantastic cutoff and nice width.

Re: My '05 V

i'm still trying to find someone with a busted headlight to sell me just a projector. might have a lead on one right now, but otherwise no luck has been had.

Re: My '05 V

Car looks good!

I may be going to the yard near me the weekend and have seen some caddys before, I can keep my eye out if you want? If so, any specifics I should look for?
