Maybe needed a little driver mod?

My buddy's '08 350Z (the HR version of the VQ) had HFC's, intake, and a tune...it ran 13.5x @ 106~.

Great run though.

Hmm. Calling the revup a "better" motor is arguable. They almost all burn oil. And this guy might need to work on his driving.

This guy can drive and its a pretty comparable race.

He said after the race that his clutch is going bad, it basically has to touch the floor before it will engage. We will run again and ill post it. I get my Devils Own Meth kit tomorrow along with the giant TEP trans cooler.

This is a picture of his car, not sure if it will help you figure out the engine thats in it. I do know the one that is in the car has common oil burn issues.

Yeah, probably needs driver mod. I had 3-4 cars on him and no way a 3.3 and s2x helps me that much. Not that it matters but I did dyno 310ish / 290ish

Only thing that picture tells me is it's not an HR but we already knew that. With his mods he honestly might have lost power. Was it tuned?

Not yet, I tried to get him to come with me when I got my car done. He is convinced that hes going to LSx swap it, I see it happening just not for a few years.
