My 04 turbo colorado (build, destroy and rebuild thread)

Re: My 04 turbo colorado (build thread)

lol this is the FIRST time it's ever been on a trailer.. i can't drive it to the dyno shop, so i have no other option but to tow it

Re: My 04 turbo colorado (build thread)

well the tune didn't go great, but it wasn't bad either.. the truck is drivable but goes into reduced power under full boost, it'll handle short bursts of boost... sooo i gotta go back to the dyno next week or so, so we can figure out whats up, i called the guy that built the setup and he gave me some tips on what to do, so hopefully they work.. the AFR is a little whack too, but we'll fix that

heres some vids of me driving and giving it little bursts.. the tires will break loose from a 30+ mph roll

sorry, they're crap cell phone vids lol

I can't lie, that gave me a chubby. Can't wait until you get it going solid and get a video of it on the dyno once you get it all worked out right :th_thumbsup-wink:

Re: My 04 turbo colorado (build thread)

yeah, i think i'll leave the tuning alone next time.. it was totally my fault that it blew... gonna pick another engine and start over

Re: My 04 turbo colorado (build thread)

Tried tuning it yourself?

Bummer dude...at least it didn't shoot a piston through the hood :D
