but im confused, when you guys launch do you just hold the brake and press the accelorater then release the brake and punch it? thats what i did, ive only done it once but it seems if you did it alot it wouldnt be good for your tranny? oh btw, its kinda slow haha

To get the best launch, you want to minimize wheel spin.. so just gently ease into the throttle and then floor it. It'll take a couple tries to figure out when you can floor it or how hard you can take off from start.
 
Since you have a GT, you can probably give it about 3/4 throttle till you get to like 10mph and then step on it all the way. I wouldn't hold the brake and rev up, its FWD, not all wheel drive, all thats going to do is make you spin more. Like Nawarkk said, play around and try to minimize your wheelspin.
 


Well considering your stock theres no problems with letting it get to its max shift point.That will also knock your 0-60 down maybe half a second.
