ive run 3 sets of 114.3 wheels on my gp and ive never gotten any vibrations just get them balanced real good...im currently running 03 cobras without hubcentric rings and i drive around 80-85 on the highway never a vibration....smooth as butter

What he said...minus driving 85 cuz you'll get popped here :th_winking:

I noticed slight rubbing at first when i got my new wheels when making sharp, for a grand prix anyways, turns, no more vibrations from the stock wheels and the rubbing has also stopped. I love my bullits.

Ok logically you think 115mm vs 114.3mm and instantly think no that is too much stress for metals.

But that's like saying 18s are too tall because they are 2" bigger than 16s.

the .7mm difference between bolts is actually only .35mm difference from center. .35mm!!!

Go ahead and measure that out for me on a tape measure, or get a micrometer. I will wait.

It is small, and most don't think that most aftermarket holes in wheels are bored bigger to allow difference kinds of lug nuts and a little wiggle room. You could easily argue that factory wheels are the wrong bolt pattern with all the broken lugs I see in our customers vehicles that come in. People tend to over tighten lugs, and they do it repetatively on stock wheels and then on an aftermarket they break, and O. M. G. ITS THE WHEELS!!!!!

idiots :th_shakinghead2:

there isnt the capability of most aftermarket wheel manufacturers to even hit those tolerance levels. its impossible.

Are you referring to the bullits as being stock or the GTP stock rims....??

As for the vibrations I had none when I had 5x114 wheels, if you do then just get hub rings to solve the issue, not everyone needs them and vibrations can occur even with the right bolt pattern.

Just think .7mm is about the width of a mechanical pencil's lead I'm sure the difference is probably smaller than the tolerance for manufacturing.
