Mustang wheels and tires

I have a set of drag wheels and tires from my mustang that are mickey thompson drag radials. they are 275x40r17 will these even work on these cars. it will be only track use.

the wheels will fit. the tires may not fit so well. the tires are this much smaller then a stock tire. http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/tirecalc.php?tires=225-60r16-275-40r17
