mustang rims fit?

wandering if anybody has put a set of rims off a mustang on a 97-03 gtp? i know the lug pattern will work 5x114.3, does the rwd offset usually work tho? im not sure of the exact offset but they are aftermarket 18's on a 99 mustang. they are a buddy of mines and hes willing to give them up pretty cheap, just wandering if i should waste my time with jacking the car up and all and install them to see how they fit..lol! thanks!
 


depends on the offset. youre best off if you stay above +35mm offsets.

most of the 04 or older mustang wheels will have a lower offset and youll have to do some fender work to get them to fit without rubbing. usually the 05+ mustang wheels work better as their offsets are higher.
 
94-04 have the lower offset. Anywhere from +24 to +35 depending on width.

05+ have the +45 to +50 offset.

They should be fine as long as there not 10" wide..

no way the tire is 225.
Its probably a 275/40

IMO, if they were dirt cheap. I would buy them and try them on. It is going to stick out a good bit, but might not look too bad.

If they dont work. Sell them. Im sure they will sell in a couple days on craigslist.
