Must be from California.

So I've been to a number of different states. and a few of them actually do say "They must be from California" when there's a crappy driver. Oh and the truth behind that statement. People here really can't freakin drive. Its sprinkling this morning, SPRINKLING. I've been other places where there are real storms. And almost every freeway on my way to work (i have to catch 3 diff ones) is backed up due to accidents and/or general stupidity, all the while, you see ppl trying to weave in and out of traffic, tailgating, etc, whle the other half is freaked cos their windshield is moist so they're doing 40. Bad mix. And its not like it never rains here....it does. I grew up in an area where we got snow every winter. Its not that hard. Just dont be a dick and if you're not a good/confident driver, stay home or in the right lane. Every a-hole out here thinks they belong in the fast lane. And half the time traffic builds and clears for no reason. No accident, no bottlenecking, nothing...and then there's the *******s trying to drive their Prius' like a sports car.... and the corollas that try to get their MAX mpg's by going 50 in every lane.

WHEW. Good to vent. How many other people out there say that, or hear that said when they get behind some knuckle-nuts that can't figure out how to go straight, or merge, or....drive? :th_hammerhead1:

I giggle when I see southerners floor it in 1" snow that they get once a year.

Every state has its own personality as far as drivers. For example, in Minneapolis everyone drives 55 or 60 and won't let you in. In Chicago, everyone drives 90 but they will let you in. In Toronto, the slow drivers are in the middle lane and won't budge.

Come to Missouri where the passing lane is the slow camp out lane.

You'll go insane.

Twice.

I hear that. That and when I lived in KC, when it would rain or even slightly snow, you'd see tons of people in ditches. Up in Northern part of KS we get more snow and rain and crap than KC, and I never seen one person in the ditch last winter.

no ****. although when i get all pissed off and get ready to bash someone they ask me if im from california. when i say no im from florida they say "same thing". then they apologize when i flip out.

I work in a town that's like 70% corporate. Once you get close, it's nothing but 40-60 year olds doing 5mph under the limit in their 4wd suvs. We've got some windy back roads, so it's understandable to keep it around 5-10mph over the limit on them, though 5 below is the norm. When I work late enough, there's zero traffic and I get home in 15 minutes (normally 45) by doing 30 over with a stock suspension. I'd do 15 over if there was someone in the car with me, since +30 can get.... fun.

i was so happy driving through indiana last weekend... the speed limit was 70 instead of 65, so 80 was somewhat acceptable. me and a group of 4 other cars kept it posted between 80 and 90 for like 50 miles, it was so awesome. everybody going slower would get over too, everything worked like it was supposed to. driving in ohio is terrible, 10 under on backroads is unacceptable

IL peeps dont know what a turn signal is lol

yea woooh WI every lane is the fast lane, or you pull hard up behind them and they move over
