• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Music that should be on everybody's driving playlist

What the??
I like Carly Simon, Scotty.
The Eagles; Pink Floyd; The Doors; The Stones; Aerosmith '70's '80's rock
And I have a few BeeGee's 8 tracks and KISS
I listen to a LOT of '60s, '70's, and '80s Rock.
Kansas, Creedance Clearwater Revival, REO Speedwagon, Zeppelin, Cream, Bob Dylan, Janis Joplin, etc., etc.
BUUUUT
It specifically states:
Only songs that you could imagine yourself either ripping your tires to shreds to, careening off of a cliff into a pool of molten magma, or making a hot run for the border with two dozen pissed off cops on your ass. Soul destroying metal, rash inspiring techno, chugging techno and death metal that would make your grandparents rip out their eardrums with shrimp de-veiners. Hard, fast music.
:D

yes sir, Iron Maiden all the way!! look forward to them coming back to town.

Is Bruce Dickenson back with the band or are they still using that standin singer?

And aren't they using walkers by now? I know I love my Rush, but Iron is getting pretty long in the toof ;)

As for my driving tastes, it varies widely.

Rush (Hence my user name if no one figured that out :P) and a ton more I really dont feel like posting, but I have a TON of burnt CDs for different moods when I drive.

Don't even get me started on Queen.
I break into singing "Bohemian Rhapsody" randomly...

Queen and Rush are both good. I'm a George Thorogood fan myself, along with ZZ Top, *opens iTunes* Al Green, Alice Cooper, The Beatles, Billy Joel, Bob Seger, Boston, Buffalo Springfield, The Clash, Cream, CCR, David Bowie, Dire Straits, The Doors, Earth, Wind, And Fire, ELO, Elton John, Clapton, Free, Grateful Dead, Guns N Roses, James Brown, The James Gang, Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, Jimmy Buffet, John Mellencamp, Journey, Zeppelin, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Marvin Gaye, Nazareth, Paul Simon, REO, The Stones, Steve Miller Band, Thin Lizzy, Tom Petty, .38 Special,
Just to name a few.
I had more, but they got erased with my iPod... :o

VAST rocks!

Dude...I thought I was the only one who listened to VAST.

Stubbled across VAST during my DJ days. I was surprised, and disappointed, that radio didn't embrace the music though; especially the second album.....the song "A Better Place" sounds like something you'd hear if Jim Morrison was still alive and decided to collaborate with U2.

Found a vid for it on Youtube....not an official one, just the song set to clips of Dr. Who....but I figured I'd put the link here if anybody was interested in checking out the song.
