Recently my wife’s car has been having lots of issues. The car is a 2003 grand prix with 6.1 4door,125k miles.
Currently my front driver’s side window is just stuck halfway up and down, if you press the button it make a loud obnoxious noise (Videobelow). It has been like this for a few weeks and we have been getting by with bags, but that got old Grand prix Window problem - YouTube
Do I need a new window motor or regulator? Can I just take the door panel off front and back and swap motors and keep back one up and not working and getting the frontone running again(temp fix, part availability)?
Next thing im having a TON of difficulty with is how my car runs. When it turns on with no CE light it runs great, very smooth clean ride. But when it comes on (it blinks,(misfires)) and runs very rough when stopped, moving also but it is less noticeable.
At first I was getting misfire in the 3[SUP]rd[/SUP] cylinder but I changed all wires and plugs and now it varies between that and misfire onall cylinders. I have replaced the coil for 3 and 6 cylinders. The CE light is getting to be more frequent was 1-2 times every 1-2 weeks. Now it happens on a daily, you might leave and it comes on during the ride or next time you start. What should be the next thing I trouble shoot. And I changed T-stat. A friend told me to get fuel injector cleaner, while I think that might help could it really solve my problem?
