Multikit/Mount Kit to mount EQ?

I've seen the mods for the double DIN stereo in a GP, and such, but never seen a mount kit or a mod to fit a DIN stereo + a standard EQ (like the EQS746 from Clarion) in the same area as the stereo. I hate having it in the area under the ashtray, plus less wire to run. Anyone know if using a Multikit from GM will work? Or what would actually work? I was thinking about an 04+ GP kit and drilling holes for the stock location. This will be for an 01 GT. Thanks in advance.

to 97-03 is a din and a half and its wider than an aftermarket deck. the 04+ is a normal size double din so it wont work right. you'll have to make a custom mount and move the hvac controls down.
