mufflers not loud

Hi i just put on 2 flowmaster delta 40s on my 04 gtp. The sound is BARELY louder. Just has a slighly deeper rumble? What gives? I thought the 40 series was suppose to be really loud. Has stock res/header, but that cant make that huge a difference?
 


I am just wonderig why people say chambered mufflers sound bad on these cars. From what I see, it barely changed the sound.
 
Because your not behind the car hearing it.

Chambered mufflers sound like ass anyway you slice it.

I have been behind it and heard it take off. It is not much louder. Sounds almost the same just a little deeper but definately NOT loud.

Want loud? Just delete the mufflers all together. Free.

ANY...and I mean ANY 3800 with a resonator delete...that isn't snail'd...sounds poopy. I'd bet money on it you couldn't find one resonator less FWD 3800 car that doesn't rasp.

I had one.. but the super deluxe, quieter than quiet Bonne muffler was stil on the end of it. Otherwaise.. yea every one does sound horrilble.
