Muffler Suggestions?

i want to get borlas...i want to find a decent price..like 100 for both or a little over 100. also i need a 2.25 inlet correct? on stock exhaust
 


im gonna say this and then watch everyone freak the fu*k out. leave the stock resonator and cut the mufflers off. weld a pipe in there place. there's your growl. and for free : )
 
I got my mind set on some borla pro xs mufflers for about 150. Now I just need to find somewhere that won't charge 130 for an hour of welding work.
 
Flowmasters they sound good, get 21/4" offset in/center out, 21/4 will give u better options when choosing tips too
Go look on youtube for sound clips?
 


flowmasters dont sound good. i had them and didnt enjoy them at all. i liked the stock mufflers a lot more.

cutting off the stock mufflers will make the car raspy, even with the stock resonator.
 
So these are my choices as of right now:

Dynomax-mufflers-Thrush

^^ill be saving a lot if i get them..im not sure how great they will sounds, idk if there turbo?

Wicked Nicky exhaust. The only site you will ever need for low prices on high performance exhaust systems and more.

^^more expensive, but i trust these to have a good tone...but again a lot more expensive

Flowmaster-muffler-ssuper-40

^^middle price range, but some say they dont like flowmasters on GP's

anyone know of good magnaflows or corsas around these price ranges?
 


Go search my car on youtube for exhaust (bluegtp03)...granted it is cammed...but with glasspack and high flow cat...flowmasters will sound pretty good IMO.
 
i had a glasspack and high flow cat on my flowmasters and still didnt enjoy the sound as much as i wanted to. i didnt like how it droned.
 
I have the thrush muffs. You can pick them up at advance auto on the shelf. I think they sound ok but alot of people on here dont, but i also have no cat or resonator so thats probably why it has slight rasp.

 


Midas out here in kansas told me 100 tops to put on a glasspack, make a custom ubend delete and add mufflers and tips.
 
I like the way that sounds. I need a new cam lol. and ya its a little raspy at the higher rpms, but ive noticed its worse when im not actually moving. driving around town it sounds pretty good.
