I've never trusted them on my leather seats but they work great on shoe scuff marks on hard plastic like the bottom of the doors or carpet sills.

I think of these like fine grit sand paper. If you use it on the walls and look closely esp if it is a gloss or semi gloss paint, the gloss is removed. One was used on the countertop in the kitchen and took the shine off. Now it attracks dirt worse than before. I personally don't care for them for this reason. They just have to be used carefully is all I guess. They sure work good for taking off huge scratches on the wall but I'd never use them in the car.

They have my seal of approval as a professional detailer. Makes my job a lot easier then trying to use various chemicals. They work wonders on textured door panels & such.

Just one note though, make sure your leather seats haven't been re-dyed aftermarket before using these on it. I pulled some really cheap dye off of a Mercedes Benz leather seat, (fortunately, it was a wholesale vehicle...whew...)

This is a slightly abrasive material. It's like taking very very light sandpaper to whatever your cleaning

only use it on vinyl, and leather, but not too crazy on the leather, i work at a detail shop and we use these all the time, they work wonders for scuffs on the vinyl. use a little bit of lubricant, like vinyl cleaner or leather cleaner with it.

Yes, they will remove the coating/dye from the leather seats if used too much or on very neglected seats. One of my employees had done it to his own vehicle even after I told him to not use them. Better on his own truck than one of my Clients' vehicles.
