mpg on dic?

what is your average econ on your driver information center say? mine is 19.8 right now. just wanting to compare.
 


Not trying to hijack the thread but when you do the math by hand how far is the DIC off? Mine is usually off 2 or 3 mpg's.
 
The calculated MPG of a vehicle is done by the MAF. Not entirely accurate and is never spot on. It also varies from car to car as fuel trims are different. It also doesn't take into account enrichment during PE or AE.

Just do it by hand instead of watching an inaccurate gauge float all over the place. ;)

My car thought I got 31MPG on my trip Wednesday. By hand I got 33MPG.
 


Currently 24.X MPG. I don't normally look at that because I always figure by hand, so not sure on the exact reading.
 


98' GTP - 126,000 miles ( original)

city - 22.6
highway - 30.2 ( at 75 mph )
range - 545 miles

i took pictures for fun , now i need to learn how to get them off the damn phone!
 
15.8 but I just got car and check engine light came on other night misfiring in 4, SO I think thats why it is low. When I first got car it was like 15, then I got oil change and changed air filter and gave me another .8 lol
 
is that 15.8 city or highway? either way thats bad, worse though if highway TUNE UP!!
