a few months ago i replaced my lower motor mount and it seemed to help my clunking wile going into reverse but a few weeks later it returned. i have a feeling that my transmission mount is shot too. i have tried finding how to replace my transmission mount but cant find anything. any one know how to do it without pulling the whole car apart?

also i fers that if both were bad and i replaced one not knowing they were both bad that the good one would take all the wear and could be shot by now?

Just put a jack with a board under the trans and lift it up a bit. Unbolt the mount and pull it out.
