So im looking into motorcycles...might get one when the car is paid off this year.
Ridden dirt bikes before but never really had a motor cycle license but planning to get one soon just so i have it.
I like the sportsters style bikes and have been looking at this one for awhile
2014 Star Motorcycles Stryker Home, information

So who rides. May also get a cruiser instead of a sport style but still just looking for now

I love dirt bikes and motorcycles! I don't have a motorcycle, but I'm also 16 lol. As far as the style bike you want, I definitely like it!

dont buy anything nice for a first bike, for real. learn to ride, get "good" at it...THEN buy something you'd want.

first bikes should be sub $1000. no lie.

Hmmm good ideal. I'm gonna pay the car off first then look more. The one I posted was just for the style I want/like

i know a lot of dudes that bought a nice bike, then dumped it.

I will definitely keep that in mind and lower my price range to under 2500. I don't want something dirt cheap. And I'm going to take the basic riders course in a few months

i made my wife ride a ninja 250 for a good while before i even let her on something nicer. now she rides our 08 zzr6 like a champ.

the basic riders course is cool, but even she said it doesnt give you anything for the real world. being out on the road is a completely different terrifying experience that you wont understand until you do it. buy what you want, but i never recommend people buy anything that they cant handle as a first bike...

honestly 250's are much better bikes than people give them credit for. they are AWESOME bikes for what they are.

my first bike was a 400$ 87 cbr hurricane 600 that didnt run. fixed it up for 100$ just in maintenance and i never dropped it. plus if i did i really wouldnt care too much..lol

craigslist is ur friend..im sure u have tons of options living where majority of the people ride bikes all year...living in the midwest sucks..especially chicago
