If have a 98 gtp with a bad motor. I was wondering if I could put a non super charge 3.8 motor in it. Will it work or do I need to change anything??? Please help
 


Use everything from the heads up on the GTP engine the bottom end will work from a non SC engine and actually make a little more HP thanks to the higher compression of the NA engines. You will have to use everything from the heads on up from the GTP engine though because the heads are different also. Going to need to use the GTP belt setup too. Other than that everything will bolt together just fine.
 
The motor can work but it will need a tune. Some wires are different but just one connection if i remember correctly. it isn't as easy as putting it in and hooking it up and start it and run great.
