motor swap question

bought a 98 buick regal gs s/c motor and tranny to put in my 97 g/p gt. is wiring harness same for motor besides ext a couple wires? from my search looks like cv axles have to be changed different spines on tranny side. all that seems easy enough big thing is going from vac control tranny to elec is got me stomped. i got computer for motor but they cut wiring harness all up every plug has been cut on s/c motor so dont think much luck saving harness. my best bet prob go to junk yard get a wiring harness but figure i would ask here how you guys make tranny work. i do know the plugs are completely diffrent that plug in to tranny. been searching for hours and have not found a answer so figure i would just post. any help would be great.
 


only bought motor and tranny for 500 dollars with 90000 miles and guy bought it to me. thought it was a good deal. thanks for the replys
 
yeah but they cut every plug off of it not sure its all they either. one on my old motor is good so was going to use it for the motor just not sure about the tranny mine is vac controlled and new is computer controlled
