motor first or trans first.

you guys that modded your car, did you to the motor first or trans first. lets face it, if you do any major mods to add hp, your gonna need a builts trans. Your guys that built the motor first, do ya wish you started with the trans?

id start with the trans cause if you dont have something to put the power doen to the road whats the use of having the power

I would do a trans first but the thing is that the motor you can add a little at a time. With the trans is pretty much a one time deal.

I will say build the motor and wait until you break the trans before you buy a new one. Unless you can't be without you car then do the trans first.
