Modular Vs. Press On Pulley

I was just wondering what the difference between the modular and press on supercharger pulley. I am new to modding so please not to harsh. Also if you have any suggestions for me on which to get, I have a mostly stock 2000 GTP but I do have a cold air intake and a flowmaster exhaust. I dont anticipate modding much further after the pulley and then a tuned PCM. Thanks!

the modular pullies will let you be able to switch pullies in about 3 minutes. a press on pulley will take you 20 minutes to swap out and youll have to buy a pulley puller instead of just renting/borrowing one once.

if you plan on swapping pullies more than ones it is definately more cost effective to get a MPS.

Modular FTW without a doubt.

Honestly though, with the mods you have now (mufflers and a CAI) and adding a tuned PCM to your list, you won't be ready for a smaller pulley anyway. Might as well stay with you're stock pulley, you're not ready to drop. Otherwise you'll just get alot of knock and a slower car.

If you like useless paper weights...then get a press-on. I had one for about 6-7 months and I wish I would have waited another week and gone with the MPS system...its awesome. One of the best mods I've ever done to date IMO.
