First mods should maintanence, really. Coolant elbows, LIM gaskets, VC gaskets, oil pan gasket, plugs and wires, etc. Get the car running in peak shape and then start modding.

No. That a repair, dumbass. If you are using performance gaskets then that's a different story.

No dumbass. That would be an upgrade.
 
Changing the OE plastic LIM gaskets to the revised OE aluminum ones is called an upgrade. GET A DICTIONARY AND LEARN WHAT WORDS MEAN.
