Mods needed for 3.5 S/C pulley?

Hey guys. I'm new to this whole forum thing, but I heard it's really useful. I have a 2000 Grand Prix GTP. I have a cold air intake and and MBRP resonator. I've been wanting to add mods to my car for awhile now, and so I did some research and got a 3" downpipe w/cat and u-bend delete, 180* Tstat, autolite 104's, polyurethane upper motor mounts and a 3.5 s/c pulley. I haven't installed any of these mods yet, but I want to double check if I need anything else in order for my engine to not blow up from the decrease in pulley size. Thanks in advance :)

Well I would say based upon hensley getting knock with a 3.5 with roughly same mods you have but he has 1.9 rockers. Your probably gonna need a plog also. But every car is different. You also don't need a u bend delete if you have a downpipe. Read that thread like the bible, and scan for KR before you drop pullys.

Thanks guys. When you say that I need something to scan with, what do you mean by this? Sorry, I'm new to the whole modding thing.

I'll start doing some research. I started to look over how to properly mod a 3800 series II, but it seems like that's for a 3.4 pulley. I've read that a 3.5 pulley with produce 9-11 psi in the supercharger. I'm not looking to go full out till the engine goes out at 175k miles. I just want a fun and quick ride, may 280-290 HP. Any NEEDS that I need to install for a 3.5?

Id still do the same supporting mods as for a 3.4. Ive heard of guys running 3.4s no other mods just fine, on the other hand ive head of guys with a 3.6 busting pistons. Best to b safe not sorry. Besides, the more supporting mods you do the more hp you get :)

In your guys opinion, would having a K&N Cold Air Intake, 3" downpipe w/cat, u-bend delete, MBRP resonator, 180* Tstat, autolite 104's, and poly motor mounts be enough for a 3.5? I also just got brand new LIM gaskets and a new supercharger gasket. While I was at it, I threw on valve cover gaskets as well.

Better canned PCM out there... ZZPs seem to be a bit or miss some guys like them, a good portion have problems with them.

That would be a step in the right direction, but an incar tune from a reputable person in your area would be best, and close to the same price. If you could find someone that is.
