So, how many of you are buyin it? I know i am! :D

I dusted off my CoD 4 game tonight and popped it in after 8 months of boycotting it because I was stuck on the last mission on veteran. (I have 730 of the gamerscore and ALL I WANTED WAS TO BEAT THAT F***ING LAST MISSION to say I beat it on veteran, and don't even get me started on the checkpoint system on the last mission, not the epilogue, the mission, er nevermind. The game just makes me mad.) /rant

I have to say I SUCK NOW!!!! I used to go about 25ish and 7ish in team deathmatch. About an hour into playing Live for a bit, I was getting real depressed thinking wow, I used to rape these people, now I'm getting bent over. I used to be so hard into the game, I beat it all on Vet, except the last mission, and always was 1st or 2nd in the matches on multiplayer, it's really depressing.

About 3 hours into play I got my groove going a little and went 16 and 6 one match. Keep in mind when I did play CoD 4 a long time back it was only for about 2-3 months and i am only a level 21 and have never prestiged.

All in all, I'm pumped for the new game, I just hope I can get my step back in multiplayer because right now all I do is get p'ed off at campers, rpg's, and nades.

So I'm excited and down at the same time.....:cool:
 


I'm going to, but I checked the repair status on my xbox just now and it'll take 2 to 3 weeks now for them to get it back to me. **** microsoft

i am, got mine reserved a gamestop. im also gonna get my 360 online next week. that game is gonna kick @$$.
 
im getting it. my friend said he would pay for half of it (for my birthday in september) so I got the Prestige edition so i'm getting all the **** with it
 
I think i'll get it. Haven't played COD in like a year haha. HAHA, yeah that last plane mission (mile high club) on veteran is crazy hard (50 sec to kill 26 enemies) i did it though. Oh yeah don't shoot the guy held captive in the body, it'll say "veterans only get headshots".....
 
I accidentally kicked my xbox and now the dvd drive is ****ed, so im going to go to walmart this saturday and buy an arcade for $200 +$100 gift card and use it to preorder mw2 and get groceries.

In other words pc gamers will have to play like xbox gamers. FML

But they made it very accessible to anyone, it's not their fault, they followed the money and have done a VERY good job at keeping the fans happy.
 


I sit at a computer all day. No way in hell im going to sit in a chair and make my carpal tunnel worse. **** the pc.

And dude, I started playing CoD4 on the PC after not touching a computer game since CoD2... It is that much easier to play than console. I've been playing console CoD games since CoD3. Quite frankly, PC is that much realistic in the sense that you can aim more freely than with a stick.

Surprisingly I'll still be getting it for PS3 instead of the PC. Just don't have a PC that can play it and I've got more friends who own a PS3 than a computer to play it on.

With that said, this game is expected to sell 10 million copies before the end of the year...

This... You've gotta be ****ing kidding me. Cutting out dedicated servers actually means they're basically throwing away the PC market of server hosting. That's basically ****ing over an industry. If true, these guys have got to be the biggest ****ing idiots since the ones who argue a stick with a cheap analog sensor is more accurate than a free moving optical sensor, aka a mouse.
 
I think the whole COD franchise has been beat to death, ya its fun but holy sh*t! its the same game youve been playing for years!!! play call of duty 2 then play modern warfare 2, same controls, same character movements, same sounds its stupid. just like the madden games...you playing the same damn game just with different material.
i personally cant wait to get a ps3 and buy MAG

Yeah, that game is going to be messed up. My only concern is lag but they must have set it up so that either you're in sectors that have high priority updates (low latency) and the surrounding sectors are low priority (higher latency) and you just move from sector to sector or the better solution of you having a radius of low latency which moves with your character. Either way, it'll be impressive if they pull it off.

My DVD Drive is F'ed as well. I took it apart to try to fix and and made it worse. Ordered a new drive should be here tomorrow so i can play my new Forza 3. :P I'll let you know how successful i am with the DVD swap. If it don't work i'm going to walmart as well to get the arcade version and the 100.00 gift card. :D
