• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Modding to 300 hp

For reference my Regal beat my grandfathers 08 Impala SS by about a car from 20-120 with 1.9's, headers, and a stock pulley. His car ran 14.1 @ 99 while the Regal's best time in that setup was 13.9 @ 100.

Yea im dead even with an ls4

3.0 pulley
full size stage 2 intercooler
headers
42.5 injectors

But no proper tune. Is that whats holding me back?

And the best ive ran at the track is 14 flat :(

no proper tune...you NEED a proper tune. you should be running almost a second less than what you are running now as a guestimate.

Can someone help me with a proper tune for my mods? Im willing to pay. I need a tune baaaad. Im still running my overkill 3.4,headers, and cai tuned pcm.

It's about a 5 hour ride, lol. I used to drive to Gaithersburg once a month... it's not terrible but it's definitely far.

Damn lol Last time i drove that far it was to new york for new years and that wasnt pleasant at all lol. Do you do email tunes? I have a DHP Tuner but still learning how to tune...

you know as a precautionary measure i would take off that 3.0 and put back on the 3.4 or the 3.8 pulley if you still have them.

i used to drive to greenbelt MD every week, (i used to stay at the holiday in by the ikea) doing stops along the way, but the drive home non stop to north jersey was a solid 4.5 to 5 hr drive. ct is another 1.5 hrs to the Hartford area from n jersey.

after that toll into del its a 55 zone all the way to NJ, the del troopers are waiting for you, both ways too. once you hit the turnpike in NJ its a 65 zone unless the signs say different due to construction.

anther road tip, take the tappan zee bridge over the hudson river to 95, that toll is cheaper, and free on the way back and also gets you out of a lot of traffic near NYC.

Plqy with pe adder until afr is wherw you want it. The end.

Edit: In english: Play with the PE adder vs time until AFR is where you want it.
