I'm driving an 04 GT auto. i dont wanna win drag races at the strip but i want to go fast, can i upgrade my car or will you guys laugh at me for wanting to mod an auto? if so is an 04 manual tranny a direct swap. like does it fit my engine and etc...

well geez. i kinda feel dumb now... lol i thought you couldn't put turbo's on auto's... well that makes me feel alot better. swaps are pricey
 
automatics are more consistent and usually end up being faster.

you want a manual if you get bored easily when driving or if you do road racing so that you can stay in gears longer and downshift before corners.
