mixed emotions about exhuast/mufflers

Yup yup! Still have both cat and res. There is no rasp in mine either, they may have a TINY bit of drone on the highway, but honestly it's not that much more audible over the normal road noise. Personally I like it. Maybe Bonne's take to exhaust mods differently. A friends 02 GP sounded a little different when he replaced the mufflers with 44's just like mine.

Probably because there is more sound deadening in an H-Body than a W-Body?

ANY for of resonator is the KEY to a decent exhaust note, the cat is not. Quiet mufflers is also what you want, because Magnadrone's and Dronemaster's and Blowla's all sound poopy and tinny.

What? So if my magnaflows are quiet and farty-ish, a slightly resonator, lets say 14in body, will just make it louder? Will it change the tone of the exhaust?

Yeah I tried out a few different exhausts, finally settled on 3" all the way no cat, no res and a single flowmaster 40. Sounded the best by far, is not excessively loud just enough to know it's there, and no drone just a hint of rasp when coming down from 4500+ rpm

Ya I think I might delete my resonator to change the sound. The possibility if it getting rid of the farting sound is nice. Or it could make it louder, and more of a raspy fart making it sound like a ricer. Mixed up. Should prolly just wait.
