Misfires?

So I scanned today for the hell of it, saving 4 separate scans as it only let's me record 1000 frames at a time (or at least that's all I've been able to figure out) anywho, at the end of the final scan misfire history cylinder 3 showed 2 misfires. Is something wrong or is a single random miss nothing to worry about? I hit 4 red lights and gave it WOT from 0-60 for each scan. It also recorded about a minute before and a minute after the 0-60.

It's hard to tell exactly when it misfired. I'll be scanning again on the highway in the morning.

I haven't thrown any codes but my speed daddy tick seemed a little louder today and got me all paranoid... And now the misfires.

Thoughts?

Welcome to the world of a modded 3800.

It happens all the time and the PCM is too stupid to even notice them, but every now and then you see it pick up and show you a misfire.

Realistically, once you start climbing past 1500 rpm, misfire data is hit and miss at best. As a rule, I don't concern myself with low misfire counts. History counts are a telltale of a possible problem but unless those numbers are above 500, I would be more watchful of live data misfire counters.

I didn't notice any drivability/performance problems... Just saw the data. It showed in the current misfire slot and then showed in history.

So this isn't something I should be terribly worried about?? I have zzperformances latest 10.3 wires, or whatever gauge they are, but their reviews for the 2nd gen wires don't make the 3rd gen look too promising. Should I maybe switch bak to the stock wires?

Also, I have iridium ngk tr6s. They can't be gapped. Potential cause?

Thanks for the input

U can gap iridium plugs if need be. NGK TR6 comes pre-gapped at like .037"-.040" give or take, but if u need a wider gap just make sure u use the wire gapping tool so u wont damage the center electrode....
