Misfires going 75+

Hey all,

I seem to be having a misfire issue when I am cruising 75+ mph. The issue is almost non-existent in the early morning when I am on my way to work (6 AM) except when I am almost there (I drive an hour and 15 mins each way), but on my way back to work, it is horrible, it can barely go 75 without surging.

I scanned and it appears that all the misfires are on cylinders 2 and 5. So naturally I thought coil pack; swapped coil pack, did nothing. I am thinking maybe the ICM is next?

Also, when I get up to that speed, the LTFTs are way out, around 11.6+. I replaced fuel filter and injector o-rings and it helped around the city with the LTFTs, but the highway characteristics of the car haven't changed. Don't know if that is related or not.

From what I know, it has new plugs and wires. I will shotgun those next if the ICM doesn't fix it. Any suggestions?

I am with you on it seeming to be the coil pack or driver to the coil pack (icm) related. Being on opposite ends of the motor, the only thing they really share is a coil pack.

You LT's sound like you need to check fuel pressure.
