I unplugged my MAF for cleaning and fired up the prix to see if it ran better. it idled far better in the driveway, but when i drove it it died on me twice in the 1.5 mile stretch i drove it. it died at every stop sign. I was forced to keep on the gas to keep it from dying to get it back home. SO i guess what i am really asking is what does it mean if the car runs way worse with the MAF removed?
Only codes i keep getting are the elusive PO300 (random misfire), and the daily POS4U.^^ On the MAF Sensor (because no OTHER codes...., right?).
