okay i leeked some coolant into the airfuel mixture due to a ripped tb gasket and i turned it over and white smoke pored out of the exhaust, i install a new rubber gasket, reved up for a bit and got the smoke to go away. it idles at about 900 now (used to be about 600) and it sounds like i have a xp cam under the hood. do i just need a tune now or what?

so just replace all the plugs and see what happens? it is okay to drive as of now or do i need it to sit till then?

im gonna have to go with rough. my description of it sounding like its camed is as close as i can get. very very lumpy for no cam

If it was misfiring, you'd get a CEL and a DTC for a misfire. Take it for a drive. Don't romp on it, just give it a chance to clear its system completely. Let it heat up to operating temp to fully burn out anything left behind.

alright ill do that in the morning going to school and top off the coolant. i let ya know if its still acting up tomorro night, one quick question for ya though. im gettin a fully ported sc, N* Tb, and the LQ4 maf. would that do okay with a plog (i will only be running a 4.2 pulley for gas milage for now)

If the drive doesn't fix it, pull the plugs and inspect them. Might clean them up a little also. Coolant can really bug up a plug and you just have to use a cigarette lighter to heat them up and evaporate the coolant. sucks

i remembered the guy before me zip tied the vacum hose i looked back and sure enough there was a big rip (old) so i got new hose and fixed it. runs as good as new. thanks for the help though guys
