• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Misfire after build.

This is known as modding a 3800. It's kinda odd..when Max's motor went he didn't seem upset. When one O2 sensor was not functioning, he nearly flipped out.

It got much worse and much louder. I don't think it's the flex plate either :(

Lets line them up and race em till they blow . Whoever gets the farthest wins . :) haha

But really sorry to hear that man 600 bucks will buy you a nice long block you just have to search . Found one for two hundred at one point.

Haha. You would win cause mine has a flat tire and won't roll. Well, looks like motor #3 will be ordered. #moneyPit

Yes...you are. Otherwise it'll often log a multiple misfire and run like crap.

Nick.. look at the how to setup an HPT file in the tuning section stickies and fix that stuff as well.

Bill, could driving around with the misfire for 50 miles or so cause a main bearing to spin? I'm scratching my head to figure out how the second build went south...

Good point. But you don't think the detonation put too much pressure on the bearings?

To 88 formula: Unless you plan on intercooling and not keeping a correct PCV setup, then ditch the breather on the rear VC...nice vacuum leak you'll have there.
