i could get the paint done for basically free 99 i was thinkin headers tune pulley plugs and stuff but im happy with the speed i do not need to go that fast i just want it to look really good
 
LOLOLOLOL, $300+ for Paul Walker crap lights.

Retrofit or bust, guy.

Or get some VVME HID's for your stock headlights/fogs.
 


well im gettin the headers on my own and im deff thinkin about the hood and air dam first and im probaly going to buy the halos within the next week or so im big into visuals because i dont want to get to deep into the motor right at this point
 
rice lights ~$200 poor quality and fitment issues

retro fit ~$150 for newest high quality v5 morimoto minis + some DIY w/ basic tools, you already have the headlight capsules. the HID kit can be factored out as additional cost because you'll need it for BOTH retro and rice lights
Want halos with your retro? $30 for CCFLs from TRS or $55 for LED ones from TRS which kick all the other halos asses.

So you're now pretty much at the same level of investment with a couple extra hours of work, and WAY better lights.
But its up to you.
 


If you buy your stuff from PFYC you'll be wasting good money, too many good deals to be had out there. Search a little.
 
if you are going to buy headers i would eventually buy a bigger downpipe with a highflow cat or no cat its up to you (you will probly have trouble passing emissions with no cat), and a catback exhaust. the key is to buy those off somebody used because then you will get a good deal. i just bought a corsa catback off of another forum member a couple weeks ago for $425. brand new its $1200 so i would say thats a pretty good deal haha. im hoping to buy headers and a bigger downpipe next year and then eventually do some more serious mods when im out of college. probly a topswap and camshaft. im buying a shift kit in a week or so too, thats another cool mod you could do. im buying the thrasher one, i hear the tires chirp from that one when it shifts from 1st to 2nd WOT haha that just sounds like fun to me.
 
yeah mine is a 00 so i still need the cat for another 3 years and my tires chirp goin into second if i downshift from third and hammer down
 


i mean a shift kit will do that anyways. its good for the clutch so i would look into it. they arent too much money and its a simple, cool mod

I have zero complaints and I see GREAT at night.
