Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Mileage Increase

I just felt like I had to share this success story with you guys...:th_laugh-pointup:

Recently my car was drinking way too much, and doing about 15mpg average...Everytime I started the car the arrow would go down one level, I checked under the car and saw some exhaust leaks...

I searched on internet and numerous sites said exhaust leaks had nothing to do with mileage...BS!

I brought my car to a muffler shop and explained the situation, I then asked if it was possible to do a clean job on the line and weld the holes...Some stupid guy before put clamps on the line and they were all rusty, therefore causing leaks...Also, my tips were bolt-on and there was space between the pipes and the tips...big mistake apparently...

So the mechanic welded where the clamps were before and welded the tips to the pipes...

Result : Sick ass sound (muffler delete, resonator delete, 24" glasspack), increased low end power (more backpressure) and the car is now averaging 22mpg (and I was stuck in traffic during the trip).

So if anyone tells you leaks don't cause mileage drop, tell them they are plain wrong!

Happy new year, full of gas saving and increased perfomance :th_bowdown:

Of course exhaust leaks cause crappy mileage...they throw your fuel trims off...its like the opposite side of the motor for a lean condition vacuum leak...get a video of the exhaust...muffler delete is 99.9% of the time meh

I knew it had to be related somewhere...It's just funny how much garbage you see on internet because of people wrongly informed...I'll post a video as soon as there is less snow outside! Give me about a week!
