Mileage change??

Good day all,
Recently I changed my PCM (overkill) and after I installed it my mileage went from 150K down to 115K. I don't think the mileage is stored there so I am at a loss. Not the biggest of things that could happen, just looking for any info as to why this happened? Thanks for any/all help!

miles are stored in the cluster, not the pcm, not sure what happened there.

Fixed it for you.

Miles are stored in the DIC, not the cluster. Changing the PCM should have no effect. Did you happen to swap a 5 button DIC at the same time?

i drive a regal, thats where mine are, i forget you guys got a messed up set up all the time.

Nope same DIC. I was driving along and one minute it was 150. Then it just jumped back to 115. Only change was the PCM.
