MIL Light Doesn't Work

2001 GT, has some issues a few days ago, had a scan ran on it, and one of the codes were MIL lights being turned off? How is it possible to turn them off? I'd like to know if I have some sort of engine problem. It isn't lighting up at all when it throws codes/has malfunctions.
 


It's probably burnt out. When you turn the key to "ON" before you start it does it light up along with the other instrument lights (ABS, Battery, etc). If not then time to replace it. The one on my 00 GT is out as well. Just gotta figure out how to replace the bulb in it.
