update on the Z06...

Took it to the shop early sunday because he didn't want to risk being caught in the snow with it this weekend if mother nature would have pms'd more.

So far, it has put down 660 RWHP/591 RWTQ....That is at 5500 rpm...By 6000rpm, fuel pressure is dying off to 8 psi. So the shop ordered the external fuel system from A&A today to be installed.

By looking over the cam specs that is in it and from the help of the longtubes and injectors, it is an extremely healthy setup for a blower even at just 5 pounds.

We are expecting well into the 700 wheel range when it can rev out to 7500.

Because before there were just pictures of some Legacy or Outback or whatever.

Seriously though. I would love an lsx car, but just getting to work on these cars, drive them and having good friends makes it all worth while.
 
Had a run tonight. Twas an 07 Mazda Speed3. He has an intake and stage 1 cobb tune. Did a 40, at the beginning when we were getting ready a car was coming up kinda quick and I am extremely paranoid so I back off behind him until I knew it wasn't a cop. I let off around 55 seconds.

Overall I'm pleased with the results. I thought that he would have pulled a little more on me than he did.

Well, tonight I purchased an aos from a member on nasioc, got it for a good deal, 175 shipped.

Now I just purchased a downpipe from another member for 200 shipped.

That's enough money spending for tonight I think :)
