put wheel bearings in with new pads but one side is rubbing and gets very hot, only drove it couple miles down the road.
You did push the piston all the way in before the new pads right?

Could be. When you get a chance check the fluid.. If it smells burnt then that's no good. If it's still cherry redish then your good if it's dark then yes you'll want to do a pan drop. How many miles?

Ehh I wouldn't spend the coin on it, rather buy the dorman pan that has the built in drain plug to make future pan drops easier.

Your n/a right.. If so stock iridium plugs will do just fine, you won't get much performance out of plugs
