I would never put an aftermarket turbo on a 4.3, you wouldn't have to even start it and be picking pieces off the ground.

Wise choice keeping the GP. People get rid of their vehicles that they have grown attached to and put money into for no good reasons. I am assuming your car is paid for and you have to remember that your tranny lasted xxx years on an original tranny and forking over a mesley grand for another say 5 years at the least is worth it imo and you will still have your car that you know you would miss alot especially if your only gonna be driving it every once in a great while which therefor will make it last even longer. Blazer is a terrible idea just my 2 cents trust me getting rid of your car even though you may think you will not miss it you will alot. trust me.
