• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Might be a LS1 in sight

Car looks great bstuby....Just needs a good set of mufflers/tips to fill in those holes. Looks kinda weird without them being filled. Just like GP bumpers

Thanks. It does need a new exhaust and some headers but I had mentioned that to the fiance today sayin I was going to do that this summer and she threw a fit.

Maybe I will just do it like i did the gp and not tell her bout it. lol was in the garage all weekend putting headers on it and all I told her was I was fixing a exhaust leak. She fianally found out about a month ago. It was hilarious

And I really like the hood. Dont really see the need to put a ram air on it.

No need to change the hood, at least i don't think anyway. The car looks pretty damn sweet. I love the TA body lines. Congrats, now clean that motherfrackin engine bay!!!

I agree, leave the hood like it is....Dont really care for the WS6 hood too much on them...makes it look like a transformer thingy.

Clean the engine bay, and go around having some RWD fun

If we stick about 10 grand into her... maybe some over night parts from Japan... naw im just playing man. That car is awesome. Is this in northern IL

Damn it i want one now...especially for that price. I think i could sell my car for more than that around here.

Congrats. See you over on ls1tech.

I have read so much about the rear axle in that car that I just want to go out there and smash it with a ****ing hammer to save myself the trouble of being stranded along the side of the road before to long.

When it was all said and done I payed $5404 for it. I just seen a guy on LS1tech who paid 7600 for his and it had 110,000 on it. I think I did damn good on that deal :th_nanana:

People exaggerate. Wife's car has 200+ 6.50 passes on a beefed 7.5". Auburn Pro, Moser Axles, TA Girdle, and Motive gears.

From what I read its pretty much luck of the draw tho too. Some ppl have 500+ hp and hundreds of passes on a stock 10 bolt and have zero issues with them.

Then you have completely stock cars that havent seen the track and might get floored once in a great while and they blow the **** apart.

Who knows where mine will end up. Hopefully like yours lol

Again, I'd say give it ther benefit of the doubt. Good news is, used units are cheap, and you can score a M6 unit (3.42s) pretty easily- You'll be grinning for the low upgrading from 2.73's, which I suspect you have. Have fun with it, they're cool toys.:th_thumbsup-wink:

Thanks, Your Penisness, I don't love TT2s either. Slow today at GPF, or do you just troll for me?

Sure do. That's my only roll here.

Thanks for noticing. In one ear and out the other...and I wasn't just talking about your car, just FBodies with TTII's in general...like WBody's with Eagle 077's. So don't go gettin' your panties all bunched up guy.

I believe the proper phrase is role, but nonetheless, I got your point. Worry not about you getting my panties in a bunch, I've burned thru a couple hundred rookie mods over the years I've been in this game- it's no skin off my back. I rather considered it a welcome back gesture, considering the source. While I will concede that TT2s are played out, and also concur on the 077s, you must remember that to the average joe, they're not stock, therefore not as played out to the general public as those of us who live our car life on the boards.
That said, those played out examples of wheels for either platform will fly out of here like nobody's business each and every time they're put up for sale.
