Ill be using them for interior detailing and glass cleaning.

I have some. Been using them for the last 6 months.
I only use them for tires & wells, inside wheels, glass ,interior, etc.....NO paint. They are 350 gsm and a good little utility towel.
They launder clean after being black.
I just used 4 today.
For the paint I'll use Chemical Guys gold plush to buff after drying with a Cobra guzzler and Megs Ultimate Quik wax for a drying aid.. .............http://www.amazon.com/Chemical-Guys...&qid=1413600820&sr=1-1&keywords=chemical+guys

Or the Cobra Jrs.

But yeah, better than a bath towel and for about 70cents each, not bad to have on hand.

Doesn't have to be a million dollar car. It's a car you spent money on. If spending a little more for quality microfiber that will reduce the chances of further scratching or marring the paint,. Then why wouldn't you.
