Meth Injection Falling On Its Face

I finally have my AEM methanol kit installed!! I have noticed a few things already while doing the test drive. The biggest thing I noticed is that around 5-6k RPM the acceleration seems to die off and doesnt pull as hard. Im only running 11 degrees of timing and theres no KR. Oh im currently only spraying distilled water I have to hunt for washer fluid with meth in it lol. I also noticed that there was an addition 2 pounds of boost being built without changing a pulley im guessing the water is sealing the blower? anyone have some ideas on why its falling on its face?

damn i suppose -20 washer fluid is not a common thing in the south. thats what i used to run. or just try to find real meth. google for race fuel locations. sunoco is one seller.

add your timing back if spraying just water, theres no fuel in water to raise the octane, so you dont need to maf tune for water. its just cooling the air charge, helps, but its not the same thing.

the pump will run full time, if you read the instructions real good they tell you how to make it turn on, on command. you just need to push that button on the controller a few times as directed to. that drove me nuts too, so i turned it off as per the directions. did it years ago, ive got no idea how to do it off the top of my head lol
 
I knew water was just going to be cooling the intake charge thats why it threw me off when it felt down on power slightly. I guess it is taking up space in the combustion chambers maybe? Im gonna try adding timing. I have ZMAX Dragway right down the road I might be able to buy meth from there.
 
most race tracks sell meth. best rt to go.

id not be using the large jet for water, small or middle one would work ok i think. the large one is huge, so if using that one it could be just to much water.
 


well its time to figure out what jet your using then. directions also tell you how to open the injector up to change the jet, and clean the screen, always good to check that every now and again.
 
that might be the large one. once again its been a while for me. look at the other two, one you cant see through, aka the smallest one, the middle one you can see light through, the large one i could see your face through it lol
 


id put the timing back to stock, then use the small jet and just spray it like you are 6-8.

theres a guy on fb who runs just water has a temp sensor in his lim, it cools things down pretty good.
 
so I switched to the smaller jet and installed the 3.5 pulley and I also started spraying -20 washer fluid Im getting I good amount of KR specificly at lower rpm and higher load. if I put it in 2nd and floor it from 3500rpm ill get no knock my timing is down to 11 degrees idk why ill get over 4 degrees at lower rpm but not at 6000rpm any ideas?
 


should add i have not attempted to add timing anywhere and it is rich in spots and lean in others have not got the tune ironed out yet
 
now its time to maf tune. run the middle jet with the washer fluid. or even the big one. each jet will require more maf tuning.
 
or the large one. your call. just pick one and stick with it after you tune it. the small one is to small for washer fluid.
