Metalic Tick by Crankshaft pulley after engine swap

After swapping out the blown L67 with a junkyard L67 that had 89k on the clock there was a distinctive tapping noise coming from what I thought to be the crank pulley or something very close. I wanted to go have a mechanic listen to it before I pulled it and send it back to the junkyard but It died on me half way there and wouldn't start back up. It still cranks, no holes or oil leaking from the block. Im almost positive it never lost oil pressure (going by the dummy light) now what? Im loosing my patience and motivation to keep fixing this car. What do you guys think? Crank sensor? Harmonic balancer? main bearing?

Pull the balancer, w/o knowing what kinda reason it was in the yard. I'd guess the belt wrapped or something and either bent a ring of the balancer or the sensor got beaten up.

I had one that came out of a horrible accident with 40K on it. Oil pan was dented, AC bracket broken.. what I didn't see was part of the crank sensor had cracked and when I decided to wash it.. stalled and wouldn't restart until I found and installed a fresh sensor.

Well I should have mentioned the engine came out of a totaled 2004 impala I was told It ran before they pulled it. This engine also had a bad dent in the oil pan I had to replace it.
