Branson used to be the Annual GP meet, with a large turnout. I've been trying to get this going again for a while now, and I think it could be a great meet. They were very accomodating in the past. People have talked about making this event again, and to be honest, its time that it gets done. We could camp at the ozarks or rent a cabin or two if people wanted to avoid the whole hotel thing.


If you're not willing to drive to a car meet, there's a problem. I think taz has driven like 24 hours to go to a meet for 18 then drive home. lol I could understand if it was a financial thing, however. Spring is like 6 months away, so you have time to start saving now.

They always did the Branson meet in the fall...like the first week of September.

Think, this past weekend...Labor day.

Everyone would stay at the Fall Creek Inn as well...they didn't mind the burnout contest, stereo contest...or the overall dumbness from all us drunks.

I miss it...and I'd show up GP or not.

Go karts, cruises, drunken' water boating, it had it all. Redneck Vegas was legit.

in illinois its the saem i took my course when i was 11 but once you get a drivers liscense you dont need a boater one any more

Well we can set it up for Spring or Fall, I'm good with either one. I think picking a 3 day holiday weekend (where everyone is legally off from both school and work) would be ideal so that we can indeed stay one extra day, as it seems everyone feels rushed to get back home on Sundays and I hate that crap too.

Idk about y'all, but riding on a boat with Brian......ROFLMAO I'd go

As Abraham, I'll pick a better date. I have a couple days off coming up in this week, I'll sit down, check out Branson check out a calendar maybe lay some dates out get a rough itinerary and if most of us agree with it then I'll make a meet thread and make reservations and/or whatever arrangements need made.

If all else fails, we'll just have the meet at my house. My duplex. LOL
