Me vs WRX

yeah the gxp is around 130 a month and the sti is around 250-260 a month and thats with a perfect record and over 25.
Wow dude thats fhking insane I only pay 120 a month on my gp and im under 25 altho its not a gxp but it dont help im under 25 for like 14 more days lol. who the hell do u have insurance through lol

I have a good insurance company, but I guess the GXP letters make it alot more expensive. It cost that with a $1000 collision deduct. and a $250 comp deduct, if the comp was 1k it would be around $120 a month. All I know is it rated on there scale as an 18 which is almost as bad as a mustang gt which is really expensive insurance because teens wreck the all the time.

No...pretty sure your getting raped. I'm under 25 and I go through Geico. My insurance was only going to go up about 50 bucks from 775 to 825 switching from the GTP every 6 months to the same year 6-spd Z06. And you have a grand as your deductible? Good lord.

Is that full coverage? My car is an 08 and a GXP so I dont think that 140 is terrible, ive checked around and everyone else is more. The reason a Z06 is the same is because they rate much lower....this was explained to me before. The reason its lower is because the type of people you NORMALLY see in corvettes are older people and they have a MUCH lower accident rating because not many teens drive vettes so therefor they rate way lower than a mustang. Its just because they typically dont see the more aggressive drivers in vettes or something like that, so the cost to replace the vehicle dont play as much of a role as the liability of someone wrecking it. Oh and if I were to drop my deduct. on my car from a grand to say 500 then its would absolutely skyrocket to maybe 200 a month or more.

there are very few mods for a gxp..unless you have a ton of money to put into it. im personally getting a G8 gxp once im out of college if i have the luck finding one with a decent price tag :th_winking: but i mean a corvette motor in basically a 2009 grand prix sedan is pretty badass

im 19 with 2 speeding tickets in 2 weeks and my insurance is 168 a month full coverage and a low dedutable. OP i raced a wrx and pulled 2-3 cars on him and i was stock

Mines about $100 a month, im 18 in a 02 GT 4 door, clean record and some student discounts that are still in effect after graduating. win.
