me vs newer stang GT

So im the way home from seeing family today and a mustang GT with paper tags comes up next to me gassin it and lettin off so im like ok, im gonna smoked of course. we get to a redlight on a pretty remote 4 lane highway. i look over and its this pretty hot chick drivin. light turns green, we stay bumper to bumper til i hit 2nd gear with no wheel spin from her and minimal wheel spin from me. i knew i was gonna get beat but i wasnt impressed with how slow she walked away from me when i switched to 2nd gear. when she shifted i slowly started creeping back up on her then again she started pulling. stock exhaust on those things sound like sh!t. we raced from prob 0-70 on that run and of course she won but not by alot. :confused: we stopped cuz of upcoming traffic then the road narrowed to 2 lanes a few miles up... we merge into it and im in front of her... i look around for cops any other traffic, she pulls up next to me in other lane and we get on it from 45-50 ish mph i pulled maybe a fender on her and she again slowly started walking away...i let off gas at 120ish and she kept gettin it. she had a several car lengths ahead of me when i let off. saw her up the road a few miles later making a turn she blew the horn and threw up peace sign. :th_thumbsup-wink:
 




new 5.0 and the camaro from what i've heard are right on par with each other....

Also known as "the mustang guy from my street." I dare not **** with his car as it could spank 99% of the cars in the area.... Even kuntzie should be "concerned" hahaha
 


gtpinsc, I was at Union County Dragway this past friday night. There was a blue Mustang GT there that you could have beat. He was running around 10.7 seconds. I could have out ran that guy with my Crown Vic. My wifes GTP would have murdered him.

siLversLeigh, It's too bad you are not closer, I would love to see you go against one of my friends. He has an 03 Cobra that runs 7.20's spinning out the hole....1/8 mile that is....

Just so everyone knows Union is an 1/8 mile

ive only been to the strip once... and it was 8th mile. raced a lexus gs300 twice and won both times.

So did I, got a 100k on it and that was it, bam tranny goes out, bam cracked head, bam siezed engine. lol
 


That GT should of shut off at 106mph. Not seeing it get up to 120. The GT has been made with the GT badge for over 20 years. More details are needed other than just GT, SN95? Fox Body?
