Something to consider is that most of the gaskets in the motor were originally designed around a top number of about 13psi. Which the engine was engineered to never really hit 13psi. IIRC most say the limitation of stock head gaskets is in that 15psi area.
what are the big gains in the xp cam over the 1.8 rockers just wondering because i had the xp cam in the car and really didnt notice a whole lot of differance in the mid range from were i run the car from ... debatin on throwing it back in just tryin new setup to see how the car reacts to certain setups
